Thank you so much, Be. And I have been meaning to congratulate you on your recent Taos News editorial. You keep me reading the constitution, and you help me keep the faith.
In Zen, they say mountains are only mountains. But after 30 years of teaching, the mountains also become a place of wisdom, joy, and deep connection. Congratulations on this wonderful milestone and on the many people you’ve inspired both on and off the slopes
I have loved my children for thirty-plus(plus) years and written in journals for more than half a century. And I remember meeting you thirty years ago in our respective doctoral programs. We shared a mid-life crisis together! Here's to you, my writer-friend. xo
Maybe it’s because I teach skiing too, but I LOVE your writing—the way you take our little, and often exclusive, world of ski instruction, and connect it to such profound ideas. ❤️ N
Thank you, Chas. Someone said I must really know the mountain by now. Others know it better than me. But I am feel sure that after all this time together, the mountain knows me.
Beautiful!
I missed you so much this winter. Thank you for reading!
This is so Michele Potter. This is why I love you, friend!

Andi, yes, we go back a long ways! Skiing—and friends like you—got me through that divorce crisis. Grateful!

I appreciate you, Larry, in the locker room and for reading my Substacks!

Ah I love how this came together. GREAT job!
Thanks for sharing! Hope to see you on the mountain next season.
Make the most of the mountains that are given to you. Thank you, Michele what a gift you are.
